·       The Northeast Corridor (NEC) Connection, Newark NJ.
The Louis Berger Groups Multimedia Department prepared a video presentation for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as part of a public awareness program. Using state of the art photomontaging techniques along with 3D animation we were able to create an atmosphere of visual reality for sample trips to the Newark International Airport from New York and Trenton. These trips were simulated to show future airport passengers how convenient it will be to use NJTransit or Amtrak trains to reach the NEC Station, and from there access the airline terminals.
Client: The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
·       Hartz Mountain Hotel,Newark NJ.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey asked the Louis Berger Group to produce 2 animations and a series of renderings to show that a proposed hotel located on the property of the Hartz Mountain corporation could be dangerously close to the glide plain of aircraft landing and taking off from the Newark International Airport. The animations & renderings were shown to the architects resulting in the design being changed to a safer configuration.
Client: The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
·       I-515 corridor Study animations, Las Vegas NV.
Prepares Eight (8) animations of the new I-515 Corridor Study for the Nevada Department of Transportation. These animations showed 8 separate birdseye fly throughs and drivers viewpoints of the new proposed I-515 Corridor from the Spaghetti Bowl Interchange to Maryland Parkway.
Client: The Nevada Department of Transportation
·

American Embassy, Baghdad Iraq.
Prepared a 3 Dimensional model of the new American Embassy in Iraq for the U.S. State Department. The project entailed linking it with a Primavera schedule. This allowed the contractor to visualize the two year project in real time and by typing in a particular day or hour. The process is known as 4D Construction Management.
Client: The U. S. State Department

·       Yangshan Deep Water Port, Shanghai China.
Responsible for creating a 20 minute Project video and Proposal for the Yu Lang Bridge & Yangshan Deep Water Port in shanghai, china. Proposal using animation and photomontage showing new Seaport connection in shanghai, China. Detailed Animations showing the operations and management were depicted.

Client: TDA and the Deepwater Port Administration
·       US Route 20, NW IL.
Responsible for creating 15 minute project Video presentation for the Illinois Department of Transportation using extensive animation simulations, photo-renderings (photomontage) and onsite camera shots to depict the new US route 20 in NW Illinois. Video was used for Public information meetings.
Client: Illinois Department of Transportation
·       Modular Hybrid Pier.
Working with Berger/ABAM in Seattle, WA , we were asked to provide an information / construction video for the U.S. Navy on the Modular Hybrid Pier. The Pier will be constructed and will be able to be towed anywhere in the united states, thus saving millions of dollars building conventional piers.
Client: The U.S. Navy
·       Raritain Bay and Sandy Hook Bay Flood Study, New Jersey Highlands.
The Highlands study area, about .7 square miles in extent, is located at the eastern limit of the overall Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay in New Jersey. Highlands is a fully developed community with most year-round residences and commercial establishments located on the low-lying area along the bay. Highlands has a history of devastating flood damages. Approximately 880 residential trailer homes, apartments, and commercial structures are subject to severe flooding with approximately 670 located below 8 feet NGVD. Many low-lying roadways are flooded during severe storm events, cutting off access to large portions of Highlands.
Client: The Army Corp of Engineers
·       The Brattleboro-Hinsdale Project, VT & NH.
The Louis Berger Group, Inc. is currently working towards updating the bridges that link the towns of Brattleboro, VT and Hinsdale, NH. The scope of work for this project is initially to include study services only, and will focus on evaluating a range of structure alternatives with the ultimate goal of providing recommendations which can be presented at a Design Public Hearing for this 1800 signature crossing of the Connecticut River. The bridge types to be evaluated are to cover both conventional and non-conventional structural systems, including: conventional steel and concrete girders, steel box girders, segmental concrete girders, steel truss, steel and concrete arches, and cable-stay alternatives. The project utilizes Bergers in-house Multimedia Dept. for creating visual renderings (Photomontage).
